With the next PSL Draft likely to take place next month, various franchises would be closely looking at the players who are consistent performers throughout the year.
We take a look at some stand-out performers who could be targeted by the PSL franchises in this year’s draft.
1. Tom Banton (England):
The Somerset wicket-keeper batsman had a fantastic 2019 Netwest T20 Blast, with scoring 549 runs in 13 innings with the strike rate of 161.47 and a magnificent hundred against Kent, He is the second leading run-scorer of T20 Blast after Babar Azam who is just 29 runs ahead of him, through his performances he got a call for national team for the tour against New Zeland.
Teams should look at Banton in this season draft as he can bat in upper order and keep wickets.

2. Brandon King (West Indies):
Top-order batsman from Jamaica and one of the most consistent players in the CPL 2019, Brandon King Top’s the chart of leading runs scorer in this years CPL with scoring 496 runs in 12 innings with the strike rate of 148.94, played crucial innings of 134* against Barbados Tridents and take Guyana Amazon Warriors in the finals of CPL2019, his success also give him a call in national team for Afghanistan series for both ODI and T20I.
The team will be looking for a top-order batsman as he can bat as opener or bat at no.3.
Possible Teams: Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Islamabad United, and Karachi Kings
3. Harry Gurney (England):
Harry Gurney has previously been picked by Quetta Gladiators. A consistent performer in the T20 leagues in IPL, BBL, and CPL, in CPL 2019 the left-arm fast-medium played 8 matches having 13 wickets to his name and bowls with an economy of 6.16 with best of 3/17.
Gurney will be a surprise package in PSL 2020 as he can bowl well in the death overs.
Possible Teams: Multan Sultans and Islamabad United
4. Duanne Olivier (South Africa):
A quick from Bloemfontein, the leading wicket-taker of MSL2018 plays for Jozi Stars last season he takes the most number of wickets (20) in 8 matches with an economy rate of 7.88 with best figures of 3/30. He has played for South Africa for some time but latter he preferred a Kolpak deal and play for Yorkshire in England.
Oliver could be a smart pick by the team who can bowl quick in middle overs.
