  • Slim chance of reaching playoffs
  • Need Mumbai Indians to lose to Sunrisers Hyderabad and RCB to Gujarat Titans
  • Bangalore should lose by six or more runs chasing 181 to improve NRR

Chennai Super Kings (13 matches, 15 points, +0.381 NRR)

  • Can reach playoffs with a win against Delhi Capitals
  • Can finish in top-two with a higher NRR than Lucknow Super Giants
  • Hope no more than two of LSG, RCB, or MI do better than them if they lose

Lucknow Super Giants (13 matches, 15 points, +0.304 NRR)

  • Need a win against Kolkata Knight Riders to qualify for playoffs
  • Can finish in top-two if CSK loses or has an inferior NRR

Royal Challengers Bangalore (13 matches, 14 points, +0.180 NRR)

  • Beating Sunrisers Hyderabad gave them an edge
  • Superior NRR over Mumbai Indians
  • Ideally, a win against Gujarat Titans should be enough to qualify
  • Can aim for top-two finish if CSK and LSG lose and MI stays behind in NRR race

Mumbai Indians (13 matches, 14 points, -0.128 NRR)

  • Worse NRR than RCB
  • Need RCB to lose to improve their chances
  • Must win against SRH and improve NRR by a significant margin
  • Can finish in top-two if CSK, LSG, and RCB lose, or if CSK and LSG lose and RCB fails to have a better NRR than MI

Kolkata Knight Riders (13 matches, 12 points, -0.256 NRR)

  • Can only reach 14 points
  • Need MI and RCB to not get more than the same number of points
  • NRR becomes a deciding factor if teams are stuck on 14 points
