T20 Blast

Remaining schedule for T20 Blast 2023

The 21st season of the T20 Blast, the oldest domestic T20 league in the world, kicked off on May 20, featuring a total of 18 teams. The teams have been divided into the North and South Groups, each consisting of nine teams.

In the North Group, we have Derbyshire, Durham, Lancashire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and Yorkshire. The South Group includes Essex, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Kent, Middlesex, Somerset, Surrey, and Sussex.

As the league progresses, the competition is heating up, with Birmingham currently leading the North Group standings with 18 points after 12 games. In the South Group, Somerset sits at the top with 20 points from 12 matches.

Looking ahead to the remaining fixtures, here is the schedule for the upcoming matches in both groups:

North Group:

  • June 30: Derbyshire Falcons vs. Leicestershire Foxes (County Cricket Ground, Derby)
  • June 30: Lancashire Lightning vs. Yorkshire Vikings (Old Trafford, Manchester)
  • June 30: Notts Outlaws vs. Birmingham Bears (Trent Bridge, Nottingham)
  • June 30: Worcestershire Rapids vs. Durham (New Road, Worcester)
  • July 2: Birmingham Bears vs. Durham (Edgbaston, Birmingham)
  • July 2: Derbyshire Falcons vs. Worcestershire Rapids (County Cricket Ground, Derby)
  • July 2: Lancashire Lightning vs. Northants Steelbacks (Old Trafford, Manchester)
  • July 2: Notts Outlaws vs. Leicestershire Foxes (Trent Bridge, Nottingham)

South Group:

  • June 30: Essex Eagles vs. Middlesex (County Ground, Chelmsford)
  • June 30: Hampshire Hawks vs. Glamorgan (Rose Bowl, Southampton)
  • June 30: Kent Spitfires vs. Sussex Sharks (St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury)
  • June 30: Surrey vs. Somerset (The Oval, London)
  • July 1: Sussex Sharks vs. Gloucestershire (County Ground, Hove)
  • July 2: Glamorgan vs. Middlesex (Sophia Gardens, Cardiff)
  • July 2: Hampshire Hawks vs. Gloucestershire (Rose Bowl, Southampton)
  • July 2: Somerset vs. Kent Spitfires (County Ground, Taunton)
  • July 2: Surrey vs. Essex Eagles (The Oval, London)

The highly anticipated Finals Day will take place on July 15 at Edgbaston, Birmingham. The top teams from each group will compete in the semi-finals, followed by the grand final to determine the champion of the T20 Blast 2023.
