He amassed 302 runs in five matches during the tournament, including a century in the final, which played a pivotal role in Pakistan’s victory.
In December 2019, he was chosen as the captain of Pakistan’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, further solidifying his position as a prominent young cricketer. In March 2020, Rohail Nazir was part of the draft for the 2020 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and joined the Multan Sultans franchise in the Emerging category.
