While RCB has witnessed legendary overseas players like AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle delivering prolific run-scoring performances, former Indian skipper Rahul Dravid emerges as the second-highest Indian run scorer for the team, accumulating 898 IPL runs during his association with RCB.
In contrast, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) lead the way with the highest number of Indian batters surpassing 1000 runs for the franchise. With nine Indian players achieving this feat, KKR boasts an impressive list featuring Gautam Gambhir, Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Yusuf Pathan, Shubman Gill, Manish Pandey, Dinesh Karthik, Sourav Ganguly, and Manoj Tiwary.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK), four-time IPL champions, follow closely with seven Indian batters crossing the 1000-run mark for the franchise. Notable names on CSK’s list include Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, Murali Vijay, Ravindra Jadeja, Ambati Rayudu, Subramaniam Badrinath, and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Mumbai Indians, led by Rohit Sharma, also possess seven Indian batters who have surpassed 1000 runs for the franchise. The list includes the likes of Rohit Sharma, Ambati Rayudu, Suryakumar Yadav, Sachin Tendulkar, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, and Krunal Pandya.
Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals, and Punjab Kings each have seven, five, and four Indian batters, respectively, who have breached the 1000-run mark in IPL. These teams feature prominent names such as Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Virender Sehwag, Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Gautam Gambhir, Ajinkya Rahane, Rahul Dravid, Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Mayank Agarwal, Wriddhiman Saha, Mandeep Singh, and Yusuf Pathan.
Sunrisers Hyderabad, the 2016 IPL champions, have two Indian batters on their list, including veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan and Manish Pandey, both surpassing 1000 runs for the franchise.
