Salman Ali Agha Speaks on Asia Cup 2025 Preparation Without Babar, Rizwan

The spotlight fell on Pakistan’s T20I captain in Dubai as Salman Ali Agha spoke with confidence about his team’s readiness for the upcoming Asia Cup. During the official trophy unveiling, where all eight participating captains gathered, Salman stressed that the squad is in high spirits and prepared to face the challenges ahead. His message was clear, Pakistan will compete with belief even in the absence of seasoned campaigners Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.

A Confident Captain Ahead of the Tournament

” I think we are playing good cricket. We started a few months ago, and now things are coming together. As a team, we are playing well and looking forward to this tournament. Everyone is very excited,” Salman said while addressing the media.

When asked about stepping into the competition without two of Pakistan’s most experienced names, Salman explained that while the gap is noticeable, the team’s recent record reflects growing strength.

“It’s been good. We’ve been playing good cricket for the last four months. We won three out of four series, so we are doing really well as a team. At the same time, we are very excited. For many of us, it will be our first tournament of this magnitude, but we are ready for the challenge,” he added.

The statement has generated buzz, with fans rallying behind their new captain. Salman Ali Agha speaks on Asia Cup 2025 preparation not only as a leader stepping up but also as a motivator shaping Pakistan’s future in T20 cricket.
