Shane Watson will be part of Delhi Capitals as Assistant Coach in the Indian Premier League Edition 15 starting from 26th March 2022.
Delhi Capitals which looked quite a decent team from the last few years and also qualified for Playoffs on the last few occasions will be looking to lift its first trophy under the captainship of Rishab Pant who will be assisted by Ricky Pointing as Head Coach and the new induction of Shane Watson as Assistant coach. After his appointment as Assistant coach of Delhi Capitals Shane Watson said With Delhi Capitals, they have got a great squad.
Now is the time to win their first title. I am super pumped to get over there, work with boys, help them out as much as I can and hopefully we can win the first title Delhi Capitals will be the team to beat this year with Warner coming back to Delhi after a long time and new inductions of the power-hitting all-rounders Rovman Powell and Mitchel Marsh.
Delhi will be missing the services of their Ex Captin Shreyas Iyer who was in red hot form in the recently concluded Srilanka vs India series and also the yorker specialist Kagiso Rabada.
