Singapore Women lead the T20I series in Cambodia 2-0

Singapore Women are currently touring Cambodia for a 5-match bilateral WT20I series where they win the second match of the series to lead the series 2-0.

Cambodia Women had won the toss and elected to field first in the second match of the series that was played at Morodok Techo National Stadium, Phnom Penh.

Batting first, Singapore Women made 81/7 in the first inning and set the target of 82 runs to Cambodia Women. GK Diviya was the top run scorer for the team with 16 runs off 27 balls.

Sok Srey Maov and Heal Theara took three wickets each for Cambodia Women in the game with Phoup Srey Pheak taking a wicket. Cambodia Women conceded 31 extras to Singapore Women while bowling in the game.

Cambodia Women got all-out at 32 runs in the 18.5 overs of the second inning and lost the game by 49 runs. Phoup Srey Pheak was the top run scorer for the team with 5 runs off 18 balls.

Shafina Mahesh took four wickets for Singapore Women in the game with Vinu Kumar, Damini Ramesh and Ada Bhasin taking 3, 2 and 1 wickets respectively. Singapore Women conceded 23 extras to Cambodia Women while bowling.

Singapore Women lead the series Singapore Women Tour of Cambodia 2-0 after the win.
