South Africa Women’s T20I Tri-Series: India Women found a win in the series starter

South Africa Women’s T20I Tri-Series between South Africa Women, India Women and West Indies Women started on 19 January 2023 where the first match of the series was played between South Africa Women and India Women. India Women won the series opener by 27 runs as they defend the target of 148 runs.

South Africa Women won the toss and elected to field first in the series opener.

Batting first, India Women made 147 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs with Amanjot Kaur playing a strong inning of 41 not-out runs off 30 balls to be the batter to score the most runs for the team in the game. Devika Vaidya, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Sneh Rana and Radha Yadav took 2, 1, 1 and 1 wickets respectively for India Women in the game. India Women conceded five extras to South Africa Women in the game that include four runs from wide.

Amanjot Kaur from India Women was the Player of the Match for her 41*(30) in batting and 1-0-6-0 in bowling.
