Mohammad Hasnain, the 22-year-old young fast bowler, will replace Shaheen Shah Afridi T20 Asia Cup 2022. Shaheen was earlier pulled out of the Asia Cup after the doctors recommended a 4-6 weeks rest. Shaheen picked up a right knee injury during the Test series against Sri Lanka.
Mohammad Hasnain has represented Pakistan in 18 T20 international matches with 17 wickets. The 22 years old is currently playing The Hundred and will join the national T20 squad in Dubai. He made his T20 debut for the Quetta Gladiators in the 2019 Pakistan Super League (PSL). The youngster made his debut for the Sydney Thunders in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL). He took 3 wickets for 0 runs in his first over for Sydney Thunders.
