Pakistan has reached the Final of the T20 World Cup 2022. Pakistan had a flying start in the chase of 153 against New Zealand in the first semi-final of the T20 World Cup at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
While chasing the target of 152, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan provided a blistering start, once again posting a 50+ run stand. This is the fifth time the duo has scored a 50+ run partnership in T20 World Cups, the most by any in the tournament’s history.
Babar and Rizwan have not been up to their best in the T20 World Cup 2022. They scored 39 and 103 runs in five Super 12 matches. However, the batters delivered when it mattered the most. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, both scored half-centuries to book a spot in the mega-final of the event.
