The Jamaica Tallawahs defeated the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by eight wickets in the CPL 2023.
Salman Irshad took four wickets for the Tallawahs, restricting the Patriots to 156/9.
Brandon King scored 67 runs for the Tallawahs, who chased down the target in 16.3 overs.
The Patriots got off to a good start, with Andre Fletcher and Evin Lewis scoring 20 runs in the first two overs.
However, Irshad took three wickets in the fourth over to leave the Patriots reeling at 37/4.
Joshua Da Silva scored 36 runs for the Patriots, while Dominic Drakes scored 22 runs.
Brandon King and Kirk McKenzie scored 34 runs in the first three overs of the Tallawahs’ chase.
King scored 67 runs before being dismissed by Drakes.
Shamarh Brooks and Amir Jangoo scored the remaining runs to take the Tallawahs to victory.
