It was a brilliant initiative taken by Lahore Qalandars one of Pakistan Super League Franchise, who is doing player Development Program since last 3 years, and same was done this year as well, which was won by Lahori Qalandars for the first time.
The event was started way before its final execution, as these players were came out from the talent hunt program done by the Lahore Qalandars in the most part of the country, where they went and hold an open trail for the locals, including Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
Lahori Qalandars chased the target of 176 inside 19 overs against Faisalabad Qalandars and won the final by 9 wickets. Most interesting part of this tournament is the players who participated came through an open trail, they never got this much platform to play and also the top players will go to Australia and play cricket over there as well, which is another a great incentive to those who were looking for an opportunity like this playing all of their cricket in the streets or on the local grounds with lesser facilities.
