Romania, the twelfth-largest country in Europe, and Finland, a Nordic country in Northern Europe, are bringing two new tournaments for Women’s Cricket this year. This will add more opportunities to Women’s Cricket in Europe.
Cricket Romania will be hosting the inaugural edition of the Women’s Continental Cup T20I tournament with Cricket Finland hosting the Women’s Nordic Cup T20I tournament. The two new tourneys are set to begin in the upcoming August.
The Women’s Continental Cup T20I tournament in Romania will take place from 3 August 2023 to 6 August 2023. Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground in Bucharest will be hosting all the matches of the tournament.
The Women’s Nordic Cup T20I tournament in Finland will take place from 25 August 2023 to 27 August 2023. Kerava Cricket Ground and Tikkurila Cricket Ground are all set to host the tournament.
As per the reports, the Women’s Nordic Cup T20I tournament will feature the Women’s National Teams from the host Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
