In a remarkable feat, Mohammad Waseem from the UAE has emerged as the player with the most sixes in international cricket in 2023, surpassing India’s Rohit Sharma, who competes across all three formats. Waseem, specializing in T20Is and ODIs, achieved this record in 2023, leaving renowned players like Mitchell Marsh and Daryl Mitchell behind.

During the 2023 ODI, and T20I matches, Waseem showcased an outstanding performance, scoring a total of 101 sixes. In comparison, Rohit Sharma, known for his aggressive batting in all three formats, registered 80 sixes during the same period.

Waseem’s impressive record in 2023 includes 47 matches, 1645 runs, and an outstanding strike rate of 128.21. His ability to clear the boundary consistently contributed significantly to his team’s success, earning him the distinction of being the leading six-hitter in international cricket.

Notably, Waseem’s recent innings in ODIs and T20Is have been exceptional, showcasing his dominance in the limited-overs formats. His standout performances include a powerful knock of 119 against PNG, where he smashed 12 sixes in a single match. Other notable innings include 53 against Afghanistan in a T20I, 96 against PNG, and 63 against Nepal, and 80 against Canada in ODIs, underscoring his consistency and impact on the team’s success.
