The New Zealand squad has landed in Pakistan to participate in a limited-overs series against the home side. Led by Tom Latham, the Kiwis are set to play five T20Is and as many ODI matches against Pakistan. Excited about the series, NZ all-rounder Daryl Mitchell noted that the young players in the team have not played in these conditions before, making the tour a challenging one. Nevertheless, Mitchell believes that the series is an opportunity for the players to gain experience and play good cricket.

After resting in Lahore for two days, the New Zealand squad will undergo a training session on April 13 at the Gaddafi Stadium before the first T20I, scheduled to take place on April 14 in Lahore. The tour is set to be quite lengthy, providing ample opportunities for both teams to display their skills and strategies.

The New Zealand squads for the T20I and ODI matches include some well-known names, such as Mark Chapman, Ish Sodhi, and James Neesham, as well as some relatively new players like Rachin Ravindra and Henry Shipley. Similarly, the Pakistan squads boast some top-notch talent, including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
