Pakistani all-rounder and team’s Vice-Captain Shadab Khan is included in the list of platinum cricketers, besides the players eligible for retention have also been announced.
Pakistani cricketers eligible for retention include Shadab Khan of Sydney Sixers, Ahmed Daniyal, and Syed Faridudin of Melbourne Stars.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Hafeez, Shan Masood, Wahab Riaz, Imad Wasim, Tayyab Abbas, Asif Afridi, Sohail Akhtar, Kamran Akmal, Umar Akmal, Faisal Akram, Asif Ali, Shahnawaz Dahani, Salman Fayyaz, Zafar Gohar, Muhammad Haris, Dilbar Hussain, Muhammad Imran Jr., Salman Irshad, Usman Khalid, Azam Khan, Maaz Khan, Musa Khan, Sharjeel Khan, Junaid Khan, Osama Mir, Muhammad Salman, Saad Naseem, Usman Qadir, Momin Qamar, Rumman Raees, Maamoon Ur-Riyaz, Ali Majid, Usman Shinwari, Hussain Talat, Muhammad Zahid, Zeeshan Zameer, and Muhammad Zeeshan are included.
A further 100 nominations have also been announced for the draft, marking the first time foreign players have been drafted in BBL history.
The draft for the BBL will be held on August 28, for which the list of platinum players has been finalized, but the name of Pakistan fast bowler Wahab Riaz is also included in the new nominations.
