In the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024, the newly introduced team Antigua & Barbuda Falcons is yet to win a match in CPL 2024. Replacing the Jamaica Tallawahs, ABF have struggled to find form in the tournament so far. Despite having played four matches, they have faced four consecutive losses and are currently at the bottom of the points table with zero points.
Their journey in CPL 2024 has been tough from the start, as they lost their first match against the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots by just one wicket. Following this, ABF continued to face defeats, losing their second match to the Guyana Amazon Warriors by three wickets. It has become evident that ABF are yet to win a match in CPL 2024, and their fans are eagerly waiting for a breakthrough.
Adding to their challenges, ABF’s third match against the Barbados Royals ended in a crushing defeat by nine wickets. This significant loss highlighted the team’s need to improve both their batting and bowling performances. ABF are yet to win a match in CPL 2024, and their fourth match against St. Lucia Kings resulted in another tough defeat, losing by seven wickets. The team has shown moments of brilliance but hasn’t been able to maintain consistency across full matches.
With their next fixture against Trinbago Knight Riders, ABF have a tough road ahead, and they will need to make significant improvements if they hope to change their fortunes. ABF, still yet to win a match in CPL 2024, must overcome several hurdles to stay competitive in this season’s tournament.
The CPL 2024 has been highly competitive, but ABF remains the only team that is yet to win a match in CPL 2024. Their fans and management will be hoping for a turnaround as the tournament progresses.
