Karachi Kings’ skipper Imad Wasim holds the undesirable record of having the most ducks in PSL history. He has been dismissed nine times without scoring a run in 53 innings over the course of his PSL career. Despite this statistic, Imad has proven himself as a valuable player for the Kings with 682 runs, an average of 18.43, and two fifties to his name.
Moreover, Imad has also been successful in the bowling department, with 42 wickets and an economy rate of 7.01. His leadership has also proven to be a key factor, as under his captaincy in 2020, the Karachi Kings won their first PSL title.
As the Kings gear up for the 8th season of the PSL, all eyes will be on Imad to see if he can break the duck curse and lead his team to victory once again. The Kings have a tough schedule ahead, but with a strong squad and a determined skipper, they have the potential to go far in the tournament.
