The 3rd match of T20I series of the Women’s Ashes of 2023 year have been concluded today with England Women finding a win over Australia Women. England Women win the game in DLS method by five wickets against Australia Women.
England Women had won the toss and elected to field first.
Batting first, Australia Women posted 155/7 on the score board in 20 overs in Ellyse Perry’s 34(25). Beth Mooney and Ashleigh Gardner made 32 runs each in the game.
Nat Sciver-Brunt took two wickets for England Women in the game with Charlie Dean, Lauren Bell, Danielle Gibson and Sophie Ecclestone taking one wicket each.
England Women have completed the target in 13.2 overs making 121 runs for the loss of five wickets and won the match by five wickets. Alice Capsey made a 23-deliveries 46 runs in the match for the team. Danni Wyatt and Nat Sciver-Brunt made 26 and 25 runs respectively.
Megan Schutt took two wickets for Australia Women in the match while bowling. Jess Jonassen, Darcie Brown and Georgia Wareham took a wicket each.
England Women won the T20I series 2-0.
