The Women’s Premier League (WPL 2023), a franchise-based T20 cricket league, is set to begin its inaugural season on March 4, 2023, organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The league will feature five teams battling it out for the championship title. Fans of cricket are eagerly looking forward to the matches following the WPL 2023 auction.
The league-stage matches will decide which team tops the WPL points table, giving them a direct entry to the finals. The second and third-place teams will face each other in the eliminator on March 24 to secure a spot in the final, which will take place on March 26 at the DY Patil Stadium. All matches of the Women’s Premier League 2023 will be hosted by the Brabourne-CCI Stadium and DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai.

Viacom 18 has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for the Women’s Premier League for INR 951 crore over the next five years, starting in 2023. In India, Jio Cinema and Sports18 TV will be live-streaming the WPL 2023 for those interested in watching.
