Ireland’s Mark Adair and Harry Tactor put in strong performances, grabbing two wickets apiece. However, their efforts were not enough to prevent the loss. As a result, Zimbabwe managed to win by five wickets sparing two overs,
The first match of the series was a closely contested one, but in the end, it was Zimbabwe who came out on top. The teams will now move on to the second match of the Ire vs Zim series, with both sides looking to gain an advantage in the three-match series.
