Bermuda tour of Argentina: Bermuda finds easy win in the first match

Bermuda is playing a 2-match T20I series with Argentina currently where the first match held on 21 February 2023 went in favour of Bermuda. Bermuda chased a 78 runs target in 15.5 overs to win over the hosts Argentina.

Argentina won the toss and elected to bat first in the match.

Batting first, Argentina made 77 runs in 17.2 overs for all wickets. Pedro Arrighi was the player to score the most runs for the team in the match with 18 runs from 22 deliveries. Pedro Baron followed Arrighi with 15 runs off 12 balls followed by Alejandro Ferguson with 11 runs in 7 balls.

Delray Rawlins took four wickets for Bermuda in the match joined by Zeko Burgess, Malachi Jones and Derrick Brangman with 2, 2 and 1 wickets respectively. Bermuda conceded 9 extras to Argentina while bowling.

Bermuda made 78 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 15.5 overs to win the match. Malachi Jones was the top contributor for the team in scoring the total with 19 not-out runs in 27 balls. Delray Rawlins and Tre Manders followed Malachi Jones in the most run-scoring list with 16(22) and 14(17) respectively.

Alan Kirschbaum, Hernan Fennell, Pedro Arrighi and Agustin Husain took a wicket each for Argentina in the match. Argentina conceded 10 extras to Bermuda while bowling.
