Jersey international Asa Tribe has been unable to join England Lions’ tour of the West Indies because of entry restrictions in St Kitts and Nevis.
The development was confirmed in reporting published on November 2, 2026.
Travel Restrictions Affect Tribe’s Participation
The 22-year-old Glamorgan batter recently represented Jersey in three List A matches in Nairobi, Kenya.
He subsequently attempted to travel to St Kitts and Nevis to join the England Lions squad.
However, current entry restrictions affecting recent visitors to Kenya prevented his arrival.
The England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed that Tribe had returned to the United Kingdom and that it was communicating with the relevant authorities.
England Lions are scheduled to play five T20 matches and three 50-over fixtures against West Indies A.
The tour began on November 1, with England Lions winning the opening T20 by eight wickets.
Tribe’s participation in the remaining matches remains uncertain.
