Renowned Pakistani presenter Zainab Abbas has expressed her desire to work in the Indian Premier League (IPL) if given the opportunity. In an interview with a YouTube channel, Zainab emphasized the importance of resuming work relations between India and Pakistan, particularly in the realm of sports.
Zainab stated that politics should not dominate work relations between the two countries, and that sports can serve as a bridge to close the gap between them. She argued that there should be no hindrance in sports activities between India and Pakistan, and that politics should be kept aside. As one of the finest presenters in world cricket today, Zainab has worked as a presenter in multiple ICC tournaments and has represented Pakistan in different leagues.
When asked about her wish to work in the IPL, Zainab expressed her enthusiasm, stating that work should be taken as work only. If given the opportunity, she would definitely go and work in the IPL. Zainab emphasized that there should be no space for hate and negativity, and that she hopes work relations will resume between India and Pakistan. She concluded that India should come to Pakistan, and Pakistan should go to India to play cricket.
It is important to note that Pakistani players only participated in the IPL during its inaugural season in 2008, and India has not invited Pakistani players to its league since then. Additionally, India and Pakistan have not played a bilateral series since 2012-13, and only played against each other in ICC tournaments and the Asia Cup.
