Smriti Mandhana and her team may have suffered two consecutive losses in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), but the group remains positive and recently celebrated Holi together. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are currently struggling in the tournament, having lost to both Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC).

In their latest match against MI, RCB captain Mandhana won the toss and opted to bat first. However, the team failed to perform against the MI bowlers and were eventually all out for 155 runs. Despite some lower-order contributions, MI were able to easily chase down the target thanks to the efforts of Hayley Matthews, who scored 77 runs off 38 balls and also took key wickets to earn the Player of the Match award.

Despite the disappointing results, Mandhana remains optimistic about the team’s chances and believes they will learn from their losses as they prepare for their next match against Gujarat Giants. The team is currently in fourth place on the points table, alongside GG who are also yet to win a match in the tournament.

Mandhana recently shared a photo on social media of herself and teammates Richa Ghosh and Heather Knight celebrating Holi, demonstrating that the team remains in good spirits despite their recent setbacks.
