Six players representing Associate Nations are among the overseas entrants for the Women’s Premier League 2027 player auction, scheduled for October 28 in Kochi, India.
The auction will feature 146 players competing for 27 available places across five franchises.
Scotland Players Among Associate Entrants
Scotland internationals Sarah Bryce and Kathryn Bryce are among the associate players available for selection.
The auction pool includes 119 Indian cricketers and 27 overseas players.
Only seven overseas places are available across the five teams, making competition for contracts particularly strong.
England batter Sophia Dunkley and Australian all-rounder Sophie Molineux have registered at the highest base price of INR 50 lakh.
The auction will begin at 5:30 PM Indian time.
The inclusion of associate players provides another opportunity for cricketers from developing cricket nations to compete for contracts in one of the leading women’s franchise T20 competitions.
