Pakistan have named Muneeba Ali captain of their 14-member squad for the ICC Women’s Emerging Nations Trophy 2026, beginning November 12 in the United Arab Emirates.
The squad announcement was reported on October 27, with Ayesha Zafar appointed vice-captain.
Fatima Sana Unavailable Due to WBBL Commitments
Regular captain Fatima Sana will miss the tournament because of her Women’s Big Bash League commitments with Perth Scorchers.
Muneeba previously captained Pakistan during their T20I series against Sri Lanka earlier this year.
The squad includes experienced players Nashra Sundhu, Tuba Hassan, Gull Feroza and Umm-e-Hani.
Sadaf Shamas and Waheeda Akhtar have also been included.
Pakistan will compete in Group B alongside Bangladesh, Thailand, Netherlands and Zimbabwe.
The ten-team competition provides another opportunity for Pakistan to test their squad against established and emerging international opponents.
