Hasan Ali was born on February 7, 1994, in Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, Pakistan. He grew up in a family of cricketers, and his father, Abdul Aziz, was also a cricketer. Hasan Ali started playing cricket from a very young age and was encouraged by his family to pursue his passion.

Hasan Ali made his debut for Sialkot in 2013 and was later included in Pakistan’s One Day International team for their series against Ireland and England in 2016. He made his ODI debut against Ireland on August 18, 2016, and his 20th International debut against England on September 7, 2016. In the same year, he was included in Pakistan’s Test team for their series against West Indies and made his Test debut on May 10, 2017.

Hasan Ali played a crucial role in Pakistan’s victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, where he was declared the player of the tournament after taking 13 wickets. He emerged as the fastest bowler for Pakistan to take around 50 wickets in ODIs. In October 2017, he also became the fastest bowler to take 50 wickets in One Day International concerning the number of matches played. In 2017, he took the most wickets in ODIs by any bowler, with 45 dismissals and was called Emerging Player of the Year for Pakistan Cricket Board. He was also declared Emergent Cricketer of the Year by the ICC.
