Germany and Austria completed their tour of the Netherlands for their matches with each other and also with the Netherlands A. Germany and the Netherlands A find wins in today’s matches.
The first match of the day was between Germany and Austria where Germany won the toss and invited Austria to bat first in the match. When all the utilized bowlers of Germany remained successful in the match in taking wickets, Austria made a total of runs for the loss of eight wickets in the first inning of the match with H Iqbal making the most 36 runs in 30 deliveries. S Mornin followed H Iqbal with a not out 32 runs in 27 deliveries. GR Ahmadi and V Ganesan took two wickets each for Germany in the match with A Bashir, MY Ashraf, S Naqash and SVE Barathi taking a wicket each.
Germany chased the target in 15.1 overs making 123 runs for the loss of two wickets with J Van Heerden’s not out 53 runs off 43 balls. M Richardson was the second highest run-scorer from the team with 32 runs in 25 deliveries. AJ Iqbal and S Mornin took a wicket each for Austria in the match. Germany won the match by eight wickets.
The second match of the day was between the Netherlands A and Austria whether the Netherlands A opted to bat first in the match after winning the toss. Netherlands A made a strong total of 209 runs for the loss of six wickets in the match where MN Ahmad and R Verhagen played lightning innings of 92 off 55 and 85 off 49 respectively. While AJ Iqbal took three wickets for Austria in the match R Shigiwal picked up one.
Austria were bowled out for 109 runs in 16.2 overs while chasing the target. AJ Iqbal made the most 35 runs in 24 deliveries for Austria in the match followed by J Sadran with 20 runs in 18 deliveries. D Doram took the most three wickets for the Netherlands A in the match to restrict Austria at 109 runs with A Roy and P Boissevain taking two wickets supported by A Jain, MV Van Vliet and U Nashier with a wicket each. Netherlands A won the match by 100 runs.
