The tournament, featuring the Toronto Nationals, Brampton Wolves, Montreal Tigers, and Vancouver Knights, will also include two debutants, the Surrey Jaguars and Mississauga Panthers. Adding to the excitement, Brian Lara has joined as a mentor for the tournament. Global T20 Canada serves as a platform for local Canadian talent to showcase their skills alongside international stars. Lara emphasized the presence of great T20 players in the tournament, including Harbhajan Singh, Mohammed Rizwan, Shakib Al Hassan, Shahid Afridi, and Chris Gayle.
