The first day of Germany and Guernsey in the Netherlands completed with both the teams winning one match each against each other.
1st match:
Guernsey got to bat first in the match and made 98 runs in 20 overs losing all wickets from hand with the batter Oliver Nightingale making the most 35 runs off 42 deliveries for the team.
Fayaz Khan took the most three wickets for Germany in the match. Ghulam Ahmadi and Muslim Yar took two wickets each. Venkatraman Ganesan and Sahir Naqash took a wicket each.
Germany chased the target in 11 overs making 100/1 on board in Venkatraman Ganesan’s most 43 runs off 29 deliveries.
Like Thomas Bichard took a wicket for Guernsey in the match.
2nd match:
German team batted first and made 164/5 in 20bovers in Sahir Naqash’s most 36 not out runs off 26 deliveries.
Tom Nightingale, Luke Thomas Bichard, Dane Mullen, Matthew Stokes and Adam Martel all took a wicket each for Guernsey in the match.
Guernsey chased the target in all overs making 165 runs for five wickets in Josh Butler’s most 59 runs off 46 deliveries.
Fayaz Khan and Muslim Yar took two wickets and Sahir Naqash took one wicket for Germany in the match.
