The Women’s U19 T20 Tournament final is shaping up to be an exciting contest between the Challengers and the Conquerors. The Strikers faced the Conquerors in a thrilling match, with the Conquerors emerging victorious. In another match, the Challengers defeated the Invincibles to secure their spot in the final.

Conquerors Triumph Over Strikers

In a captivating encounter, the Conquerors won the toss and elected to field first against the Strikers. The Strikers began with a solid foundation, courtesy of an impressive 56-run partnership between Aqsa Yousaf and Areesha Ansari. Nevertheless, after this pivotal partnership was broken, they struggled to maintain their momentum.

Captain Zaib-un-Nisa displayed exceptional leadership by taking three crucial wickets, while the Conquerors’ fielding was razor-sharp, leading to three run-outs. Consequently, the Strikers concluded their innings at 95 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

In response, the Conquerors faced some early setbacks, losing three wickets quickly. However, a resilient 58-run partnership between Rida Aslam and Quratulain allowed the side to coast to victory with ease, eventually winning by six wickets.

Challengers Outshine Invincibles

In another enthralling encounter, the Challengers secured their spot in the final by defeating the Invincibles. The Invincibles won the toss and chose to field first. The top three batters in the Challengers’ lineup made significant contributions with the bat, propelling their team to a respectable total of 120 runs in their 20 overs, albeit losing six wickets in the process.

Tayyaba Imdad and Humaira Ghulam Hussain both managed to claim two wickets each for the Invincibles during the innings.

Chasing a target of 121, the Invincibles faced a rocky start to their innings. Despite valiant efforts by Humaira, Zoofishan Ayyaz, and Tayyaba in the middle order, the team fell short of the target. Muqaddas Bukhari emerged as the standout performer, bagging four wickets, while Sumbal Liyaqat contributed with three wickets, preventing the Invincibles from stabilizing and securing a convincing 34-run victory for the Challengers.
