Koge, September 15, 2024 – Denmark Women emerged victorious in the final of the Women’s T20I Quadrangular Series in Denmark, defeating Austria Women by 6 wickets in a low-scoring encounter. Line Ostergaard led Denmark to glory with an all-round performance, scoring 18 runs and taking 2 wickets to earn the Player of the Match award.
Austria’s Batting Collapse:
Austria Women struggled from the very beginning after winning the toss and opting to bat first. Skipper Jo-Antoinette Stiglitz was dismissed for a duck in the first over, and wickets continued to fall at regular intervals.
