Women’s cricket in the Pacific is all set for an exciting contest as Japan Women tour Fiji in September 2025, followed by their campaign in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup East Asia Pacific Qualifier 2025 in Suva.
The tour begins with a two-match T20I series against Fiji Women, giving Japan the perfect chance to warm up ahead of the qualifiers. After that, they will face Papua New Guinea, Samoa, and the Philippines in Group A as they battle for a coveted spot in the global qualifiers.
With matches scheduled at the Albert Park in Suva, this tournament promises to showcase the rapid rise of women’s cricket in the region. Both Fiji and Japan will be aiming to make a strong statement, while PNG enter as the regional powerhouse.
