India fast bowler Arshdeep Singh is approaching a significant international milestone as the five-match T20I series against New Zealand begins on October 22, 2026.
The left-arm pacer has claimed 145 wickets in 99 T20 Internationals and needs five more to become the first Indian men’s bowler to reach 150 wickets in the format.
Arshdeep’s T20I Record Before New Zealand Series
Since making his international debut in 2022, Arshdeep has established himself as one of India’s leading T20 bowlers.
He enters the New Zealand series with 145 wickets at an average of 20.30.
His record includes two four-wicket hauls and one five-wicket haul.
The opening T20I takes place at Hagley Oval in Christchurch, with Shreyas Iyer leading India and Mitchell Santner captaining New Zealand.
Arshdeep’s ability to take wickets with the new ball and during the closing overs makes him an important part of India’s bowling plans.
The five-match series provides another opportunity for the pacer to move closer to the 150-wicket landmark.
