Pakistan captain Fatima Sana made her Women’s Big Bash League debut for Perth Scorchers against Melbourne Renegades at the WACA Ground on October 31, 2026.
The 24-year-old all-rounder made an immediate impact with the ball, dismissing Australian captain Sophie Molineux for one run.
Fatima Sana Makes Immediate Impact
Sana’s first WBBL wicket came when Molineux was caught by Freya Kemp.
The Pakistan international is only the second woman from her country to participate in Australia’s leading women’s franchise T20 competition.
Former Pakistan captain Nida Dar previously represented Sydney Thunder during WBBL 2019.
Sana joined Perth Scorchers ahead of the 2026–27 season, becoming part of a squad featuring Beth Mooney, Sophie Devine and Alana King.
Her debut represents another step in the growing participation of Pakistani women’s cricketers in overseas franchise leagues.
