Lahore Qalandars posted only 138, but it was their bowlers who defended that total and Haris Rauf was the pick of bowlers with four wickets is his fast and furious spell.
Sohail Akhtar and Anton Devcich contributed the major chunk of runs scored Lahore Qalandars in the first innings, 39 and 28 respectively. Young Umer Khan picked two wickets including a prize wicket of AB de Villiers. While Sikandar Raza also picked up one wicket in his two overs.
In reply, Karachi Kings found themselves in a tricky position and ended on 22 runs short, due to sensational bowling by the Lahore Qalandars bowlers. Haris and Rahat Ali was the pick of the bowlers 4 for 23 and 3 for 19 their bowling figures respectively.
Haris Rauf got the player of the match award.
