With this win, they move to the second position on the points table of the Big Bash League 10th Edition. Up front D Arcy Short provided an amazing start to the Hurricanes, he contributed 72 with the bat also well supported by the Will Jacks.

Run-Chase wasn’t an easy task for the Strikers as the opposition bowlers jolted their top-order batting line-up severely, they were 49 for 6. It was Worrell and Brigs unbeaten 10th wicket partnership of 61, they came closers to the target somehow. Faulkner picked up 3 wickets while Botha and Meredith 2 each.
