Maaz Sadaqat produced a sensational century on the biggest stage of CPL 2026, smashing 114 from just 58 balls for Jamaica Kingsmen against Antigua & Barbuda Falcons in the final at Kensington Oval, Barbados.
The explosive opener struck eight fours and nine sixes, finishing with a strike rate of 196.55 as Jamaica Kingsmen posted 170/9 from their 20 overs after being asked to bat first.

Maaz Sadaqat Delivers on the Biggest Stage
Playing in a CPL final would have been enough pressure on its own, but Jamaica were also put under early pressure after losing Kirk McKenzie for a duck.
Sadaqat refused to allow the early wicket to dictate the tempo.
He attacked the Falcons’ bowling throughout the innings and kept Jamaica moving even as wickets continued to fall around him.
His most important partnership came alongside Saim Ayub, with the pair adding 80 runs. Ayub contributed 29 from 22 deliveries, while Sadaqat scored 47 from 24 balls during the partnership.
Remarkably, Ayub was the only other Jamaica Kingsmen batter to reach double figures.
A Century in the CPL Final
Sadaqat reached his hundred during the 17th over.
After reaching the milestone, he removed his helmet and celebrated before receiving a standing ovation at Kensington Oval. He continued attacking rather than simply protecting his century.
His innings finally ended with just one delivery remaining.
Shamar Springer dismissed him for 114 from 58 balls at 169/9, with Joshua James taking the catch at long-off.

The scale of Sadaqat’s contribution becomes even clearer when looking at Jamaica’s final total.
The Kingsmen finished on 170/9, meaning Sadaqat personally scored 114 of the team’s 170 runs — 67.1% of the total.
Jamaica’s next-highest scorer was Saim Ayub with 29.
Antigua & Barbuda Falcons did manage to fight back with the ball. Sufyan Moqim took 4/14, while Alzarri Joseph finished with 2/27.
But Sadaqat’s extraordinary innings ensured the Kingsmen still had a competitive total to defend in the CPL 2026 title decider.
Maaz Sadaqat Continues Remarkable CPL Playoff Run
The century also continued a superb run through the CPL 2026 knockout stage for Sadaqat.
He had already played a devastating innings in the Eliminator and then gave Jamaica a flying start against Guyana Amazon Warriors in Qualifier 2, scoring 41 from 17 balls as the Kingsmen successfully chased 207 to reach the final.
Then came his biggest innings of all:
114 from 58 balls in the CPL Final.
On a night when wickets repeatedly fell at the other end, Sadaqat carried Jamaica Kingsmen’s batting almost single-handedly and gave his side 170 to defend in their pursuit of a first CPL championship.
