PSL 2022 Replacement and Supplementary draft details

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 is going to hold a replacement and the supplementary draft on Saturday evening during a virtual session, where PSL franchises are due to pick their supplementary players along with a few replacements.

It is pertinent to mention that 14 cricketers, who will not be able to play the first few games because of their international duties, will be partially replaced by their franchises. 

Quetta Gladiators will replace Naveen Ul Haq for the entire event after he pulled out of the league, while Tom Abell is unlikely to be available for the duration of the tournament because of an injury.

In the supplementary draft, each franchise will be allowed to pick two players with a maximum of one foreign player either from the Diamond, Gold, Silver, or Emerging Categories.

List of the players who will be partially replaced: 

Chris Jordan (Karachi Kings), Faisal Akram (Karachi Kings), James Vince (Quetta Gladiators), Jason Roy (Quetta Gladiators), Liam Livingstone (Peshawar Zalmi), Noor Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators,), Odean Smith (Multan Sultans), Phil Salt (Lahore Qalandars), Qasim Akram (Karachi Kings), Reece Topley (Islamabad United), Rovman Powell (Multan Sultans), Saqib Mahmood (Peshawar Zalmi), Shepherd Romario (Karachi Kings), and Zeeshan Zamir (Islamabad United)

List of foreign players who will be available:

Ben Dunk, Fawad Ahmed, Chris Green, Tymal Mills, David Willey, Dan Lawrence, Jamie Overton, Haseeb Hameed, Sandeep Lamichhane, Hamish Bennett, Dane Vilas, Cameron Delport, Carlos Brathwaite, Shimron Hetmyer, Lendl Simmons, Johnson Charles, and Dominic Drakes.

List of the Pakistani players who will be available:  

Ahmed Shehzad, Asad Shafiq, Awais Zia, Bilal Asif, Bilawal Bhatti, Ehsan Adil, Hammad Azam, Haris Sohail, Imam-ul-Haq, Imran Butt, Junaid Khan, Khurram Manzoor, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Irfan Sr, Mukhtar Ahmed, Musa Khan, Rahat Ali, Raza Hasan, Sahibzada Farhan, Saud Shakeel, Sohail Khan, Tabish Khan, Umar Amin, Usman Khan Shinwari, Usman Salahuddin, Waqas Maqsood, Yasir Shah and Zahid Mahmood.
