Former Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi made a shocking revelation about Shaheen Shah Afridi’s ongoing knee rehabilitation in London. While, speaking on a tv channel, Shahid claimed that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is not providing financial support to Shaheen in his rehabilitation.
“Shaheen went to England for rehabilitation at his own expense. I arranged a doctor for him there and he contacted him. PCB is providing nothing to Shaheen,” revealed Shahid Afridi, Shaheen’s father-in-law to be.
Moreover, the PCB medical team advised him to take 4-6 weeks of rest. Following the advice, pacer Shaheen Afridi was ruled out of T20 Asia Cup 2022 due to a knee injury. He traveled to London for his rehabilitation. The left-arm fast bowler is on the track to recovery as he keeps on sharing videos from his rehabilitation process.
Earlier today, he has been named in Pakistan’s squad for T20 World Cup 2022 and the tri-nation series in New Zealand.
