Lumbini All Stars and Janakpur Royals find wins in today’s Nepal T20 League matches

Nepal T20 League underwent its second day today with Lumbini All Stars finding a win over Biratnagar Super Kings and Janakpur Royals finding a win over Pokhara Avengers.

The first match of the day was played between Lumbini All Stars and Biratnagar Super Kings where Biratnagar Super Kings had won the toss and elected to field first in the game.

Batting first, Lumbini All Stars made a total of 157 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs for which an opener Lahiru Milantha played a not-out knock of 80 runs in 63 balls.

Nandan Yadav, Hussain Talat, Shahab Alam, Sikandar Raza and Andre McCarthy took a wicket each for Biratnagar Super Kings in the game. Biratnagar Super Kings conceded 11 extras to Lumbini All Stars in the game.

With the highest run scorer for the team, Hussain Talat, making 39 runs off 24 balls, Biratnagar Super Kings managed to make 154 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 3 runs.

Kishore Mahato took two wickets for Lumbini All Stars while Pat Brown, Gulshan Jha, Dipendra Singh Airee and Sagar Dhakal took a wicket each for the team. The team conceded 14 extras to Biratnagar Super Kings in the game.

The second match of the day was between Pokhara Avengers and Janakpur Royals where Janakpur Royals had won the toss and elected to field first in the game.

Batting first, Pokhara Avengers added a total of 138 runs on board losing all wickets in 19.4 overs. Aasif Sheikh played as the top-most run scorer for the team in the game with 50(39).

Kesrick Williams took three wickets for Janakpur Royals in the game. Pawan Sarraf, Sharafuddin Ashraf and Lalit Rajbanshi took two wickets each while Sompal Kami took a wicket in the game. Janakpur Royals conceded 2 extras to Pokhara Avengers in the game.

Janakpur Royals made 139/5 in 17.4 overs of the second inning of the game to win the game by 5 wickets. Sundeep Jora played a not-out inning of 40 runs off 30 balls to be the top run scorer for the team in the game.

Zahir Khan, Sharad Vesawkar and Siddhant Mousom Dhakal took 3, 1 and 1 wickets respectively for Pokhara Avengers in the game.
