Seventeen-year-old Rahul Yadav made an impressive Nepal Premier League debut for Janakpur Bolts against Karnali Yaks on October 27, 2026.
The young fast bowler claimed a wicket with his first delivery in the competition and completed his four overs with figures of 2/15.
Young Pacer Makes Immediate Impact
Yadav dismissed Karnali batter Deepak Dumre with his opening delivery before removing Pakistan all-rounder Hussain Talat during the powerplay.
He conceded just two runs across his first two overs, demonstrating impressive control against experienced franchise cricketers.
Karnali eventually posted 132/9 and dismissed Janakpur for 113 to secure a 19-run victory.
Although Janakpur lost, Yadav’s debut was a notable individual performance.
His early success provides another encouraging example of emerging talent gaining exposure through Nepal’s franchise T20 competition.
