Nepal T20 League 2022: Kathmandu Knights and Lumbini All Stars added two points each to the points table today

The 21st and the 22nd matches of the inaugural edition of the Nepal T20 League have concluded today with Kathmandu Knights and Lumbini All Stars adding two points each to the league’s points table after their wins.

The first match played today was between Kathmandu Knights and Biratnagar Super Kings where Kathmandu Knights had elected to bat first after winning the toss. The game was played for 9 overs per side as it got delayed after the players and the officials had disagreed to go for the toss because of the conflicts in the league.

Kathmandu Knights made 92/5 batting first with Sandeep Rajali making 32 not-out runs off 22 balls to be the top run scorer for the team in the game.

Nandan Yadav took three wickets for Biratnagar Super Kings while Hussain Talat and Keon Joseph took a wicket each.

Biratnagar Super Kings was all out at 58 runs in 8.5 overs and lost the game by 34 runs. Gauranshu Sharma was the top run scorer for Biratnagar Super Kings in the game.

Kamal Airee took three wickets for Kathmandu Knights today while Anil Kharel and Sunam Gautam took two wickets each. Basir Ahamad and Abinash Bohara took a wicket each to join the party.

Sandeep Rajaili was the Player of the Match for his 32*(22) in batting.

The second match of the day was between Lumbini All Stars and Janakpur Royals where Lumbini All Stars won the toss and elected to bat first in the game.

Batting first, Lumbini All Stars made 178/6 in the 20 overs with Harmeet Singh making 73 runs off 47 balls to be the top run scorer for the team.

Sharafuddin Ashraf took three wickets for Janakpur Royals while Jitendra Mukhiya, Samiullah Shinwari and Lalit Rajbanshi took a wicket each.

Janakpur Royals made 173/5 in the second inning of the game with Chadwick Walton playing an impressive inning of 59 not-out runs off 36 balls.

Harry Tector and Bipul Sharma took two wickets each for Lumbini All Stars in the game.

Lumbini All Stars won the game by 5 runs.

Harmeet Singh was the Player of the Match for his 73(47) in batting.
