The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that PTV Sports will broadcast live coverage of an exhibition match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators at the Bugti stadium in Quetta on February 5th, 2023. The event is being held with the support of the Balochistan government as a prelude to the upcoming eighth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Originally, the PCB Management Committee, led by Najam Sethi, had announced the inclusion of Quetta as the fifth venue for the eighth edition of the PSL, which is set to be held from February 13 to March 19. However, the PCB has now decided to scrap this plan and instead hold an exhibition match in Quetta to engage fans on Kashmir Day.
