South Africa Women’s T20I Tri-Series concluded today with the home team winning the T20I Tri-Series after they clinch India Women by 5 wickets in the final match of the series.
In the final match of the series, India Women won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first, India Women made 109 runs in the first inning losing 4 wickets. Harleen Deol was the top run contributor for the team with 46 runs off 56 balls.
Nonkululeko Mlaba took two wickets for South Africa Women with Ayabonga Khaka and Sune Luus taking a wicket each in the game.
South Africa Women didn’t have an expected run-chase start in the game, but with Chloe Tryon’s 32-ball 57 runs, the team could make 118 runs in 18 overs to win the game. South Africa Women lost five wickets while chasing the target.
Sneh Rana took two wickets for India Women with Deepti Sharma, Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Renuka Singh taking a wicket each in the game.
South Africa Women won the game by five wickets to register the series in their name.
