The Eliminator and Qualifier (1) matches of the BPL featured today conclude between Fortune Barishal vs. Rangpur Riders and Sylhet Strikers vs. Comilla Victorians. The Rangpur Riders and Comilla Victorians won their respective matches in the Eliminator and Qualifier matches of the BPL.
The first match of the day was played at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur and featured the Fortune Barishal against the Rangpur Riders. The Rangpur Riders won the toss and elected to field first.
In the first match of the day, the Fortune Barishal managed to score 170/3 runs in their 20 overs while batting first. Mehidy Hasan Miraz 69(48) was the top run contributor for the team.
The Rangpur Riders ultimately came out on top, securing a victory.

In the Qualifier (1) second match of the day, Sylhet Strikers vs. Comilla Victorians faced off at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Mirpur, with the Comilla Victorians winning the toss and electing to field first.
Sylhet Strikers managed to post a total of 125/10 at the end of their 17.1 overs, with Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mushfiqur Rahim scoring 38 (29), and 29 (22), respectively.
Andre Russell, Tanvir Islam and Mustafizur Rahman took 2 wickets each, while Sunil Narine, Mukidul Islam and Moeen Ali took 1 wicket each for the Comilla Victorians.
In reply, the Comilla Victorians chase a target. The Victorians able to score 130/6 in 16.4 overs and win the game by 4 wickets. Sunil Narine made 39 runs off 18 balls for the Comilla Victorians.
