Adam Rossington, an England cricketer, has replaced James Vince in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 8. Meanwhile, Najibullah Zadran from Afghanistan has taken over Jason Roy’s spot, and Qais Ahmed from Afghanistan is now playing for Quetta Gladiators instead of Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga.

Vince and Roy have temporarily left the PSL to join the England squad in Bangladesh. They will rejoin their respective teams, Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings, on March 7. Additionally, Dasun Shanaka from Sri Lanka has also left the PSL for international commitments.

Quetta Gladiators have also brought in Yasir Khan as their supplementary pick. The closing ceremony and final of PSL 8 will take place on March 19 in Lahore, which will also host the playoffs.

The winner of the PSL 8 will receive not only the Supernova Trophy but also a cheque worth Rs120m. The runners-up will receive a cheque worth Rs48m. Lahore Qalandars will attempt to become the first team to win back-to-back titles, while Islamabad United will aim to become the most successful team by winning the trophy for the third time.

The PSL has attracted numerous international players to play in the tournament, and it continues to be a successful event in the cricketing world. The replacement of players due to international commitments is a common occurrence in the tournament, and it allows other players to showcase their talent in front of a global audience. The PSL has proven to be a breeding ground for young talent and has helped players from Pakistan and other countries establish themselves in the international arena.
