On Thursday evening, the inaugural women’s Hundred draft was held. Teams had earlier retained two to four players from their 2022 cohort and made between four and six picks to complete their squads. Welsh Fire, choosing first, attempted to sign Sophie Devine and Danni Wyatt but were blocked by Birmingham Phoenix and Southern Brave, respectively, who used their Right-To-Match cards to keep their players. Ultimately, Welsh Fire selected Sophia Dunkley as their first pick.

Before the tournament begins on August 1, each team will complete their squad through an open-market process. Two teams, London Spirit and Birmingham Phoenix, are still seeking a third and final overseas player. Below are the current squads of each team.
